Costing Varies

Conventional Super Sale Costing: A marketing budget of approximately $14,000.00 and a promo in a box including custom artwork and demographic research of $700.00 is the general template that is used coast to coast. The marketing budget is somewhat flexible depending on the requirements of your territory. You are involved in the during the entire process so there are no surprises! Commissions paid on this type of sale are 29% of gross profit, and the minimum inventory requirement is 100 used vehicles no more than 5 model years old that are 'spot deliverable'. Sales people are paid 25% of the front end after a $300.00 'pack'.

Non Guarantee Super Sale

Costing is identical to the conventional super sale, the commissions paid on the gross profit of the sale are lower. For this type of sale the commission structure is only 25% of gross profit instead of 29% for a conventional super sale. With this type of sale the inventory requirement is 50 used vehicles no more than 5 model years old that are 'spot deliverable'. Sales people are commissioned on their deals @ 25% of the front end after a $300.00 'pack'.

Scale-A-Sale

The Scale-A-Sale is run on an advertising template of between $7500-$9000. This includes a scaled down version of the promo in a box, custom artwork and a reduced circulation of the ad material. These fees are paid up-front and you can expect no billing from any of the suppliers used. The commission structure on these events is 25% of gross profit. Sales people are commissioned at 25% of the front end after a $300.00 'pack'.

Invitation Sale

The invitation sale requires more participation from you the dealer, specifically in creating the mailing list. We use your existing customer base, create a invitation and phone follow up all that was mailed. This type of sale, in order to be successful requires a minimum of 500 names and addresses on the mailing list in order to be successful. Costing for the 'average' invitation sale is in the neighbourhood of $5800.00 plus $150 per vehicle sold during the 1 or 2 day event.

Dealer Close Out Liquidation Event

This costing of this type of event is match to one of the super sale types listed above. Most likely in this case you, the dealer would prefer to opt for the 'non guarantee sale' as the commission structure is lower regardless of the inventory on hand. So count on $14000.00 plus $700.00 for the promo in a box. Sales people are commissioned at a rate of 25% of the front end after a $300.00 'pack'.

50 50 Sale

CSI participates in all expenses and profits on a 50/50 basis. That is to say we agree on a budget together, the dealer pays half and CSI pays half. The paid to sales people is also split, and what is left at the end of the day after the expenses are paid is split 50/50 between the dealer and CSI. This is how confident we are in our product and process! Sales people are commissioned 25% of the front end after a $300.00 'pack'.
